I have procrastinated a lot on this blog…..and finally I started writing this tonight night at 10 30 pm, listening to this playlist of songs video, that I found a bit of cliche romantic at start. But the time seems special, as the next day is my 23rd birthday 😁. I tried to start this blog same day - a year ago, but then guess what happened :)
Originally I wanted this to be a life update - replay some of the experiences starting from 2018, that helped me evolve a lot, gain perspective on life and do work that I find satisfying as well as fulfilling. Heartfelt gratitude to the special people I had met in my life, who have an impact that can’t be described.
Note: I am note sure how long will it take, or how much I could write. So keeping a checkpoint :)

Disclaimer: This is gonna be quite loooong!

I was quite ardent from 2013 to follow my parents’ footsteps and be a doctor. Taking a repeater course to follow that was one of my crucial life choices in 2018, but somehow I got into engineering at MBCET, with a scholarship ( I don’t believe much in star-fated theory, but Papa told then, you are fated for this 😅. He apparently has a sharp sense of intuition that he boasts of 😜, which never went wrong till now. )
This repeater period was enriching with experiences too - from the protective home environment, moving to Thiruvananthapuram, life in a PG-house with around 30 inmates crunched together, first leap into doing things independently :) - provisions’ shopping, going alone in an auto, are some I can remember……..
My first set of months at MBCET were spent on the extreme trial to fit in - as a computer engineering student. I was a bookish person by DNA, and my first instinct was to spend time in academia of KTU first year engineering. With my attempts to explore tech, going in flow with the AI AI AI chants that went over, my curiosity to explore the field was also first hand.
Mumma gave me her laptop to use while I was in hostel, and I started checking out paid online courses, where I could learn from, learning C programming, get coding logic and learn more about AI
Around 2020, Developer Students Club (DSC, now GDSC - Google DSC) conducted their a Python Bootcamp that gave me my first step into proper programming - and i consider it a turning point - where I met some of the best folks I’ve had in my life!

Happy Birthday!
I’m on a train to Kochi - apparently there is a surprise waiting for me :)
